Greetings, everyone! We’re right in the middle of the most beautiful season in New Mexico and so far, this autumn hasn’t disappointed us. It’s been gorgeous here and the weather and beautiful scenery have made it an especially inspiring time as we plan ahead for an exciting 2018.
One of the best events of the fall so far was witnessing the marriage of our good friends, Alex and Ray. They met here at Black Box Fitness several years ago and somewhere in between all those heavy lifts in our gym, they fell in love and decided they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. We were honored not only to be a part of bringing them together but also to participate in their ceremony as well, held on a stunningly beautiful October evening in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains.
Being at their wedding reminded me of one of the most rewarding things about leading Black Box Fitness: our special community of athletes and loyal clients. I can’t promise that you’ll meet the love your life here, but our team strives each day to make Black Box a positive and uplifting environment for all who make this their home for fitness.
And this is why we are recommitting ourselves to being teachers, dedicated to the highest quality instruction and to ensure that you get the personal attention you deserve.
Toward that end, I want to let you know that we’ll be blogging here each week on a variety of topics across the health, nutrition and wellness spectrum. We’ll be sharing information and analysis on current topics that we believe has value not only for you as our members, but also for your friends and family or anyone who’s wellbeing you’re concerned about. We’ll also use this as a forum to offer insight into some of the new initiatives we are planning for the coming year.
But be prepared though – I and the other blog contributors are going to be very honest and blunt about the things we care about. We don’t mean to be intentionally provocative but rather to get each of you thinking about ways to really improve your health and make lasting lifestyle changes.
Got ideas on specific topics you’d like to hear about? Shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Here’s to your health!
